I just love this community! It is so fun getting to know each of you and sharing your passion for directing your capital toward meaningful impact.

I spent a fair amount of time of my career in disaster recovery. Those affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene likely have years of recovery ahead of them…far beyond when the press forgets them. I humbly invite you to remember people in these communities, especially those most vulnerable to their impact.

Hurricane Helene already appears to be one of the deadliest and costliest storms in history, and the war in the Middle East seems to be escalating. We are more connected globally than ever before. So many challenges.

Well, it happened this week. The Fed cut rates for the first time since 2020. The half point decrease is pretty substantial by historical standards.

This week we had a presidential debate, the anniversary of 9/11, a yield curve sending mixed signals, and plenty more.
